It’s not about the chair.
For a moment, let’s say you are here to achieve all that life presents to you. You have the potential, you have the courage, and most importantly the motivation.
Still you are not doing things, because you are on the most uncomfortable chair.
You think about the chair all the time
It’s that the chair is there not on the floor. But in your head.
You are thinking about it, day and night, how to remove it, should i replace it, or should i engineer it to make it more sitTABLE.
But the chair is there.
Like a stubborn object, denying to change with time, with efforts, with anything.
Atleast that what you think.
Atleast that what you think
You think that chair won’t change with time, with efforts, or with anything. It’s just your thought; a thought that comes along anytime or everytime you think about the chair.
The chair is still there.
It is not going anywhere.
Then how to change it?
By sitting on it, and being comfortable in being uncomfortable.
Does the chair change with time?
No. It is you who changes with time. Not the chair.
Objects are stubborn. Not people. People Adapt.
Humans Adapt.
You adapt.
I adapt.
But chair is still there. Going nowhere.
You might hope for a moment, in your life, when it doesn’t even matter where you are sitting. I am optimistic 77% for now. But this also doesn’t matter.
So what’s important than where you are sitting?
Two things are more important.
- How comfortable you are with being uncomfortable?
- What you are doing?
The most important thing is being comfortable for a while in being uncomfortable and doing nothing about it. For a moment, I say.
At this time, you accept the life as it is. The reality hits, the practicality takes over the delusionalism, and after that acceptance.
Acceptance that you come so far away, with time, with efforts, with anything.
Chair is still there.
You start working on the next thing, planning it, and strategesing.
