Today I was playing chess, and also I was thinking about this courtship and also relations a little. Not like seriously but you know thinking some random relationship and life stuff. What’s the need? And interestingly an interesting question comes up thanks to a friend of mine, what if there is a choice between being in a relationship or have freedom. Though the question is not that specific but I think it wouldn’t have much of the variation in minds.

A partner is like a “King with the intelligence” on your chess board. So the chess board is actually life, the white pieces except king are all the opportunities, and resources that you have. Say if for every turn, first the intelligent king takes a step, then I have to arrange the chess board so that the King wouldn’t get checkmated. That’s the kind of king I think we all need in our life. You have to do anything, even some of the resources are getting lost in saving that “intelligent king”.

The effort would be worthed it.

This is just a random thought. But its like connecting the dots. I think it is both, you can still care for someone while enjoying freedom of staking resources in each and every step for the “intelligent king”. And the complexity starts getting worse when you come to know that there are a lot more kings on your chess board that you have ever imagined. They could be intruduced in differest stages, some would be already there , and some were lost like the stubborn ones who doesn’t know how to gets reincarnated.

What about black pieces? They are the resource grabbers or king snatchers or total losers. But the thing is they have some power over your chess board. But ultimately there is a black piece that have a hidden move like “En passant”, that black piece is death. The ultimate truth about this universe, and the extreme. Because after death we can only imagine what’s true for this intelligence and what not.
