A few years back I watched this amazing movie. To this day, it remains one of my cosy corner and safe haven.
What is the ultimate horror for most of us?
Right. It’s being left behind. Missing all the adventure during our prime years and then facing loneliness and monotony with a monotonous job late in our lives is the ultimate horror for most of us.
But after watching this movie, it turned into a beautiful experience. The movie transformed the horror of being stuck at a job, lacking adventure, living a monotonous life, and missing out on fun by treating it leniently and turning it into something suddenly fearless.
You experience this shift, like you travel from the future and land directly in this timeline called NOW.
Walter Mitty is like everyone of us: something similar, something unique – a guy who zoned out most of the time to escape the boring routine.
But one day.
He got that chance to be on the ultimate adventure of his life: the unplanned trip and the unknowingness of the adventure.
Loves Ben Stiller’s Work
Ben Stiller’s work is truly exceptional, possessing an intriguing quality that even the most acclaimed critics could praise. I am not a critic; I am just a guy who loves movies and how they help you feel and experience certain things in such a short span of time.
Whether it’s Tropic Thunder or Night at the Museum, every other work of Ben Stiller is an inspiration in its entirety.
The other aspect that we all related to, as I mentioned, is the zoned-out scenes. We can all relate to the scenes where he zones out and attempts to live as “Adventurous Walter Mitty”. I discovered that there is a movie from the 1940s, I believe, with the same title.
But this is from 2013, a magical year for cinephiles, as most of my favourite films are from that year or that period.
The songs will be added to our favourite playlist after you watch this movie. I would highly recommend watching the movie.
